Our Mission: DEEC is dedicated to supporting the extension of economic opportunity to historically underserved citizens of the District of Columbia through the promotion of free enterprise and free markets.

Goals

  • Improve the District's economic climate for businesses and members of the workforce

  • Create sustainable prosperity for residents of all areas of the District, with a focus on historically disenfranchised groups

  • Advocate for policies and legislation that promote growth, empower residents, and ensure that all District citizens share in the economic success of the City

  • Foster the development of employment opportunities and business mentoring initiatives aimed at underdeserved areas of the District
